Reflection
I am learning to tell and measure time.
It was easy to know the difference between am and pm, tell the time in 5 minutes and convert time between analogue and digital clocks.
Next time I can tell  24 hour time better next time.

Word bluff

 Reflection
I am learning to expand my vocabulary.
It was easy to do the lie because I knew how to make people know that it wasn a lie.
Next time I will expand my vocabulary  more.

The haunted house

Reflection
I am learning to write a DASH? paragraph.
It was easy to describe the settings because it was a haunted house and I know how to describe what a haunted house look like.
Next time I could describe the actions a bit better.

My speech

 Reflection
I am learning to learning to write a speech.
It was challenging to add ideas because I couldn't find enough online.
Next time I will change the topic so I could find enough ideas for my speech.

Decimal fraction

 Reflection
I am learning to recognise decimal fractions.
 It was easy to recognise the decimals because I know the fraction for the decimals. \
Next time I will learn more about decimal fractions and do more activities.

Identify and use proper nouns

I am learning to identify and use proper nouns correctly in a sentence.
It was easy because I already know a lot about proper nouns but I can still learn more about them .
Next time I can identify and use proper nouns more.

Authors purpose worksheet

I am learning about the authors purpose for how the kiwi saved the forest.
 I found it a bit challenging  to use the peel structure.
Next time I will learn more about the authors purpose and do more activities

Word cloud

Reflection
I am learning about living fossils. It was challenging because I used up all the words for the word cloud so I couldn't think of more words. My next step is to use more words for the word art because I think I didn't use enough words.

Worm tea poster

Reflection
I am learning to make a worm tea poster. I found this a little challenging because I thought it wasn't going to make people want to buy worm tea. I also found this easy because I worked with a buddy so I was able to finish this in time. My next step is to make another poster and make sure it will make people want to buy worm tea.

I am learning how to write an information report about volcanoes.
It was easy to think about the topics to write about because I know what I am going to right for that topic. It was tricky because I needed

Converting Improper to Mix proper Fraction

Reflection
I am learning to convert improper to mix proper fraction. It was challenging because when I was converting it to a mixed fraction because I didn't know how I could write the answer. My next step is to make sure I work faster.

All about me

I am learning to write an all about me writing. I found this easy because I quite understand how to do it. I found it challenging because this was my first time writing an all about me and I thought I wouldn't make it interesting enough.  Next time I can write another all about me but I will make it better.

Identify the main idea

 Today I discovered how to identify the main idea. I was able to tell what the main ideas were. I need to go over some of the answers because at start I didn't do it correct. Next time I will make it more challenging by reading a whole story.

Bar graphs

I was able to identify parts of a graph. I found this easy because I could answer these questions easily. My next step is to label a different graph.

Welcome post 2019

Welcome to my learning blog for year 5 in 2019. This year I am in Room 25. My teacher is Miss D'Souza. I like unicorns and art. I am a good device monitor and I read every night and morning. I am looking forward to doing more art and reading this this year. I hope you enjoy my blog and leave some feedback for me.
