Why do the robots wanted Roz

My greenhouse for pinto beans

use a ruler to rule a dome or a triangle.  Then Miss Lister cuts it out then we get a plastic bag which is good for the environment and then we wet our  cotton balls a towel and we put them in.  Then we started decorating it. Finally we get our bag and put it on the window.  Beans are plants we love them.  It's Last week on Monday  we made greenhouses in Rm 18.  That was very fun.  First Miss lister tells the instructions , second we get a white square paper  , then we trace it fourth Miss Lister will cut it out.  Then we hard work.

Migration and hibernation


I learnt how to do migration and hibernation.  I think when the part where  it says that the bears sleep that was interesting.                               

Add numbers with coins


I was learning to add numbers with coins.  It was easy to write the numbers to its right place.  It was tricky to remember to put the decimal point and the c and the two zeros.

Youth town

Yesterday we went to Youth town at the school field .  We learned speed and agility the thing speed and agility was really fun we also played cat and mouse .  I really like Youth town .  For the equipments we have cones , agility poles , ladder and hurdles the equipment for the game cat and mouse were only cones.  How to play cat mouse was that we have to get into two lines one is the cat and  the other is mouse so the first the one in the two lines can go first so the cat has to try and tag the mouse .  Then when the mouse gets tagged the cats get a point and if the mouse doesn't get tagged the mouse gets a point .  How to do speed and agility is that we have to tip toe through the ladder and we had to do two bunny hops over the two hurdles.  Then we had to crab walk through the agility poles.  Then we had to touch the cones then we walk back the same way as how before.  The two coaches names were Nina and Keran. 

Contractions


I was learning to do contractions. The apostrophe means there is a word missing and it is replacing that word.

Rounding to 10


It was easy to find the closest number like this if it was 36 the closest number would be 40.  It was tricky to do number 4 because that one was very hard well I still tried.

Plurals s and es


It was easy to move the s and es  into the right place.  It was tricky to  find the right answer.

A plural is two things like if I have 1 apple then I have two it would be apples.




My gosling nest


Today in room 18 we made a gosling nest.  It was really fun.  First we listen to the instructions second , we wait for our sketching book , third we get a container and a carton we can get 1 or 2 or none cartons, fourth we start finding leaves and twigs , fifth we write a story of it , sixth we finish creating our nest , seventh we go on blogger and finally we put the egg in.  My goslings name is Dash.

Matariki chalk stars





Room 18 made Matariki stars. First we get our star. Then we get a highlighter and coloured it in lots of colour.


Maths:skip count by 2,5 and 10



I was learning to count in 2s,5s and 10s. I know how to keep adding numbers on to  find the  answer. It was easy to put them in the right order for the 10s.

Writing:explanation

It is important to wear shoes when you go out as it stops you getting hurt. This is because it stops things getting stuck in your feet and you don't get cold and sick. It stops bugs going on your feet or else your feet getting hurt and your feet might look yucky and disgusting. And if you step in a puddle and you have no shoes on your feet might get dirty.





I was learning to  write an explanation. I know to use my ideas from the plan. It was easy to think of ideas about each topic.

Baking ANZAC biscuits.

We were learning how to bake some ANZAC biscuits.They look so yummy and delicious.It was kind of like maths and science.First we washed our hands with water and soap.Then we get to put the ingredients we put the biscuits in the oven.Miss Wolstenholme put the ANZAC biscuits in the oven.Then the ladybird group made their ANZAC biscuits.They had coconut in them and also oats,butter,flour and sugar. We get to eat them at lunch time.Our hands had butter on them they smell yucky.

I was learning to do my bonds to 20. It was easy to put the numbers on the laptop.It was also easy to put  the big numbers and the small in the correct order.

Spelling reflection:I was learning to write words with short vowel short vowel sounds. I know how to sound the words out. It was easy to type the 'a' sound because I know all the 'a' words it took us for a minute. We all had to type ten vowel words.

Our Class Treaty
