Beginning sounds

I am learning to make the first sound to help me read new words. I had to look at the picture and then put the first sound at the start of the word. It was tricky to put the letters in the space because I had to put it on top of the question mark. It was tricky if you put the wrong letter. I am proud because I can put the right letter on it. The next step for me might be to learn the end sounds.

Making sets to 10

I am learning to read, recognise and make numbers 1-10. I had to match the cupcakes on the teddy bear. I had to give the teddy 7 cupcakes because then he ays yummy. If I give him 10 and not 7, he says "awww". I am proud that I gave him the cupcakes. Next time, I could try give him 100 but that would be a lot!

My scooter skills story

This is my published recount about when I brought my scooter to school for a scooter skills clinic. I had to write a story about what I learnt or liked. I am learning to use capital letters at the start of my story and at the start of a new sentence. I am proud when I remember to use a capital letter in my story. It is tricky remembering where to put it sometimes. Next time I could try using a full stops in my story too.
